Following jumbled instructions!

This week, the children have been finding out about the special features of instruction texts. One of the activities was to follow a set of instructions to decorate a biscuit as a ladybird. However, there were some puzzled faces as the the instructions were all jumbled and not in chronological order. Some of the children were quite cross with the instructions! They learnt from this the importance of setting out instructions in chronological order and with a clear list of ingredients. We then had a happy time munching the biscuits together!
