Years 3 and 4 had a fantastic day out earlier
this week when we visited the Oriental Museum in Durham as part of our Temples, Tombs and Treasures topic. The children found out lots about Ancient
Egypt, handled genuine Egyptian artefacts and even met a mummy! Best of all
though, was when the children got to mummify one of the class and sent him on his
way to the afterlife!
